PB 428

Used in 4 ply 2×8 post applications, the Post Pier PB 428 engineered brackets are made up of ¼” steel bent into a saddle with an inside measurement of 7” x 6 ⅛” which is attached to a ⅜” thick stiffener plate. The stiffener plate contains 4 lengths of 15m rebar cut to specified length and welded in place, The entire unit is then “wet dipped” into the concrete providing a secure way to anchor the post. The post to bracket connection is made with 3.5” Simpson Strongtie SDS Screws that are provided with each unit.
